Residents

We strive to recruit residents who are well-rounded, self-motivated, and hard-working. We recruit residents from all over the United States with 8 residents per class for a total of 24 residents during an academic year. We cultivate a sense of camaraderie between all residents with only subtle role differences per class.

Our residents have a great work-life balance. They are able to partake in hobbies and group events. They typically have gatherings, such as trivia or meals, multiple times during any given week.

Interesting Facts and Hobbies

I was in an indie/punk rock band in high school and college. We got back together during medical school and recorded a sophomore album that is available to stream on most platforms. I love cooking, spending time with my wife and dogs (dash and nyx), golfing, and playing video games with dabois.

I also grew up hiking in the foothills of Albuquerque and am pumped to check out the various trails and parks in and outside of Memphis. Lastly, my newest hobby is making kitchen knives in my garage. I started in 2019 with a propane forge that gets up to 2200 degrees and have cranked out about 15 knives in the last 2 years.
